| New Year, New Beginnings
— Welcoming the Spring Intake (2024/25AY) Students and Gathering On 15 January 15, 2025, the Ng Teng Fong．Sino Group Belt and Road Research Institute at the Hong Kong Chu Hai College held an orientation for over 80 spring intake new students. During the orientation, Professor Thomas Chan, the Director of the Institute, encouraged students to cherish their valuable study time, enhance theoretical learning and research, and engage in in-depth discussions on topics with professors from various countries. Other professors also offered blessings and earnest guidance to the students. To welcome the new students and strengthen the connections among students, the institute organized a gathering for teachers and students on the same day. Many current students as well as graduated students enthusiastically participated, gathering with new students and professors. On that day, over 130 teachers and students joined the gathering to celebrate the New Year. New Year, New Beginnings, and our Belt and Road programmes is getting better and better!
